Scott Lumley Bio

Born in Dyersburg, Tennessee Scott Lumley has become the leading force in Team Penning.  Lumley started riding at the young age of 10, ponying race horses on his step-fathers ranch in Oklahoma.  Upon moving back to Tennessee Lumley picked up on the fast growing equine sport, Team penning.  Now a 14 year veteran and currently the #1 All-Pro Rider in the World and # 6 2003 NRS rider. Lumley has continued to stay in the mainstream of the most exciting equine sport in the nation.

Lumley was an average student with a passion for sports. Active in baseball, basketball, football, cross country and track.  Having attended several schools in his elementary and junior high school years, Lumley was finally settled and graduated from Donelson Christian Academy going on to attend the University of Tennessee.
